Windsor Waste Management's new asbestos transfer station in Childerditch, Essex has secured 24 hour opening and an increased capacity to the standard permit of 3,650 tonnes per annum.

The site was opened at SMH's depot near Brentwood in March as part of Windsor Waste Management's plans to provide customers with convenient, clean and competitively priced asbestos transfer stations across the country.

Since the opening, customers have been able to use the facility between 7am and 5pm Monday to Friday. The new 24 hour licence allows customers to, by prior arrangement, dispose of asbestos waste any time or day of the week that suits them.

General Manager, Jeff Letch says: "We have had a very successful few months since opening our Essex asbestos transfer station and are extremely pleased to have secured both 24 hour opening and a standard permit. Customer service is hugely important to us and these developments enable us to meet our customer needs more closely."

To dispose of your asbestos outside of standard opening hours, please call 01708 55 99 66 and make an appointment.
