On Saturday 14th May 2016, members of the Windsor Integrated Services Group (WISG) along with family and friends braved Nuclear Rush, an ultra-gritty, properly muddy, obstacle loaded assault course, to raise money for PDSA which provides free veterinary care to the sick and injured pets of people in need.

With the course consisting of numerous and punishing obstacles including gruelling muddy trenches, zip lines, monkey bars and the infamous death slide, this challenge was not for the faint hearted.   The team named the ‘Windsor Warriors’ tackled the challenge head on, giving it everything they had to complete the course and although extremely muddy, wet, cold and a bit battered and bruised every member of 25 strong team made it through.  1936088 1127539647292003 5761011774639346006 n

Tony Windsor Managing Director WISG said:  “As well as raising funds for PDSA this challenge really did demonstrate how much can be achieved by pulling together.   It would not have been possible for everyone to get through this challenge without helping and supporting each other through the course.  It was a great day and a great team effort to raise money for a very worthy cause and we are already planning the next challenge.”

Rachael Lowe Corporate Officer PDSA said: “On behalf of everyone at PDSA, including all the poorly pets we treat each day, I would like to thank the Windsor Integrated Services Group for taking part in Nuclear Rush. The funds you are raising through this amazing challenge will ensure that someone’s much loved pet will receive the treatment and healthy life they deserve. It will also ensure that our veterinary teams can continue to educate people about responsible pet ownership, making the lives of so many animals much more bearable in the future – what an achievement!”

There is still time to show your support for the ‘Windsor Warriors’ and raise money for PDSA.   To make a donation and help us reach our target, click on the link below.
