WWM is pleased to announce that Transfer Station Supervisor Jonathan Letch has achieved his WAMITAB Certificate of Technical Competence (COTC) in managing hazardous waste transfer stations and has subsequently been promoted to Transfer Station Manager.

WAMITAB is an awarding organisation that develops qualifications and certificates for those working in the waste management and recycling sector. Jeff and Jon

Group Operations Director, Jeff Letch also holds a Certificate of Technical Competence (COTC), which is a requirement of our environmental permit, however the addition of another COTC holder will further strengthen our operational procedures and ensure we are able to maintain robust contingency plans.

Jon said: “I am really pleased and more to the point relieved that I have achieved my WAMITAB qualification.   I started at WWM as a Transfer Station Supervisor and following my achievements have been promoted to Transfer Station Manager.  The course was tough but it has been worth it as it has greatly extended my skills and knowledge in the role and allowed me to progress in my career”.

Jeff said: “This a fantastic achievement and the result of a lot of hard work and commitment. I would like to extend congratulations to Jonathan from all the staff and the board".
