Office Manager, Ilona Dixon, is running her first London Marathon later this month and raising money for Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity.

The 32nd London Marathon will see over 36,000 professional and amateur athletes attempt to complete the gruelling 26 mile course around the Capital on Sunday 21st April.

Ilona says: “It’s been hugely hard going training through all this awful, never ending winter but I completed my last long run, over 20 miles, on Saturday.  I’m on track, as much as I can hope to be, for a good run on the day!”

If you would like to sponsor Ilona, and help her raise money for the Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity who provides support to families who have a child with a life threatening or terminal illness, please visit Ilona’s sponsorship page

Tony Windsor, Managing Director, Windsor Waste Management says: “We are all greatly impressed that Ilona is undertaking this challenge.   We hope the weather improves and allows her to enjoy the day whilst raising money for this very worthy cause.”

Last year, Ilona and four colleagues completed a tandem free fall and raised over £2,500 for Cancer Research and Help for Heroes.
