Charity Karting Event

Last night’s Charity Karting Event held at Lakeside in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital, was a great success.

I know we all had fun, as did everyone who attended the evening.  Congratulations go to Mark Fletcher for organising such a successful event. No doubt there will be a repeat event early in the New Year so watch this space!

The real winners of course are Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity, as the event raised £1,515.84 in generous bid donations, along with a top up from Windsor Waste Management. 
A big thank you to all.

The money raised will be enough for either three specially adapted beds or a little over a week’s worth of funding of a lead researcher, to investigate more effective treatments for the complex illnesses of children treated at the hospital.
